What We Offer
Community Partnerships
At Stevenson Elementary School, we believe in the power of community partnerships to enhance student learning and development. Through collaborations with organizations like the Southfield Public Library, and local businesses, we provide our students with unique opportunities and resources that extend beyond the classroom. These partnerships support programs such as our Science Hands-On Initiative, celebrity reader events, after-school tutoring, and cultural enrichment activities.
After School Programs
Stevenson Elementary School offers a variety of after-school programs designed to support academic growth, creative exploration, and personal development. Our programs include tutoring sessions that provide extra help in key subjects, enrichment activities like art and technology clubs, and engaging opportunities such as the Battle of the Books.
Pet Therapy
We are proud to offer pet therapy as part of our commitment to student well-being. Our school dog, Stevie, plays an important role in creating a warm and supportive environment. Pet therapy has been shown to reduce stress, improve mood, and enhance social interactions, and Stevie’s presence brings these benefits directly to our students.
